Acres Wild offers three levels of training

1. Single day assessment
Work with the birds and find out which one suits you.

2. For the beginner
This is where Acres Wild differs as a training centre. We do not run block courses but we will train you with your own bird, which we can supply. This will be carried out over a period of time, allowing you to take the training at your own pace. All the time you will have the full support of master falconer Howard Stewart.

The course will teach you everything about the bird and its husbandry, from manning the bird to flying free. You will normally attend the Acres Wild school every week or two and will be given work to do away from the training environment.

This method of training has been recommended and approved by hawking organisations.

3. Hunting with birds
Learn about all aspects of hunting with birds of prey, including selection of quarry, aims and objectives.
